Although always interested in good photography, Gary got very serious when he entered the digital SLR age and was drafted as a Fire Photographer for the Sisters Nugget on the Black Crater complex of Forest Fires in Central Oregon. He now shoots regularly for the Nugget and has been published in numerous publications, both regionally and nationally.

A computer consultant and programmer by trade, musician by choice, Gary finds that photography has provided fascinating challenges and a new creative outlet with no limits.
